To introduce this product globally, we considered attending the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in Barcelona, Spain. We presented a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial on complementary treatments for COVID-19. This clinical trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy of Nutrition Bio-Shield (NBS) compared to conventional treatments through comprehensive clinical and laboratory assessments in patients suffering from acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2.
The intervention group received NBS powder (1.5 grams per day) for two weeks along with standard antiviral treatment, while the control group received a placebo along with the same antiviral treatment. Blood samples were taken from all patients in both groups, and several laboratory indicators such as ESR, CRP, D-Dimer, CPK, and lymphocyte counts were evaluated using standard methods.
This study examined the challenges posed by the Omicron variant and the evolving landscape of COVID-19, focusing on the efficacy of existing vaccines and treatments. The analysis showed a significant reduction in inflammatory markers in the NBS intervention group, indicating the potential of NBS Superfood to modulate inflammation and enhance immune function. The potential impact of NBS in reducing mortality rates ensures lifesaving benefits and provides valuable evidence for continued exploration of adjunctive treatments for COVID-19.

Our participation in the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (European Congress, Barcelona, Spain) has resulted in us receiving the Certificate of the 34th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Barcelona, Spain. This certificate was awarded by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) and grants up to 30.0 European CME credits (ECMECs).
It defines the requirements for a food safety management system and can be certified. This certification outlines the framework an organization must follow to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards, ensuring that the food is safe. By obtaining this certification, we have proven that all requirements of ISO 22000 have been fully met.
